Jennifer was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) on November 11, 2016 at the age of 28. She had a bone marrow transplant on March 28, 2017. Unfortunately, in 2019, Jennifer started showing signs of relapse and then on December 16, 2019, she learned she would need to fight this horrible disease a second time.
