Without a donor and a bone marrow transplant, Jennifer’s leukemia will come back. On March 28, 2017, Jen had her first transplant. Her anonymous donor, who we have since learned his name is Jake, was able to keep Jen in remission for three years. Without him, Jen wouldn’t be here today. Unfortunately, Jen needs another transplant and so once again she is relying on Be The Match in finding a match. Others like Jen also need bone marrow transplants. And the more people that register, the more likely the person needing a transplant will be in finding a match.
